The 2272b course is a 5-day instructor-led course that provides content on the implementation and support of Windows XP Professional. See the 2272b syllabus page at microsoft.com for the Microsoft provided background on this course.
The Microsoft introduction to this course states that the course "provides in-depth, hands-on training for Information Technology (IT) professionals responsible for the planning, implementation, management, and support of Windows XP Professional[1]". The target audience for this course, however, are IT support professionals who are new to Windows XP.
The 2272b course provides an introduction to Windows XP, but is not truly in-depth enough to truly meet the needs of many attendees. Additionally, the course misses out on a number of key aspects of the Windows XP Professional product that are likely to be useful to support staff. The documents noted below are an attempt to help MCTs address these issues.
The following resources provide additional help and assistance to MCTs teaching the course (and to students who have take it).
What can you add to 2272b (HTML) - this page contains a
list of topics that you might consider adding in when you teach 2272b . MCTs can use this list to
go deeper into XP.
