IT Security is an important subject for IT Pros, Developers who design, deploy and operate complex IT systems. It is equally as relevant to business users and knowledge workers. This subsite contains a number of security and security related pages, information and as many hyperlinks to more detailed information as I can find. CompTIA's Security+ exam vendor neutral security examination tests for network security knowledge equivalent with two years on-the-job networking experience. The exam covers industry-wide topics, including communication security, infrastructure security, cryptography, access control, authentication, external attack and operational and organization security.
The Security Plus page has a bunch of links related to the Security+ exam: each area of the exam syllabus has links to more information on that topic area. Also included are additional security related topics.
In the UK, TechNet has been doing a number of presentations around the country regarding security. Here are my slides.
